Match 5 $2.2 million CA winner

While there was no jackpot winner for the last drawing, one winner in California emerged with the game’s second prize. As a reminder, the winning numbers for Wednesday, Oct. 27 were 03 – 06 – 26 – 35 – 51 with a red Powerball of 17.

The winner was sold at Circle K, located at 19470 Brown Street in Perris, CA. The ticket matched all five white balls, known as a Match 5 winner.

Typically, a Match 5 ticket is worth $1 million. However, note that in California, prize amounts are based on a pari-mutuel basis. In detail, this means that ticket sales and the number of winners determine the prize amounts versus the fixed amounts displayed on the Powerball website.
