I am a firm believer that when I play an electronic version of blackjack or roulette, I cash out once I start to hit a profit. Let’s say in this example, I put in $20, but I’m up $20, so I now have $40. I will immediately cash out that $40 ticket, put $20 into my wallet, and then put my original $20 back into the machine. It’s weird, but it’s almost like a mental reset for me, and I swear it works wonders. Sometimes.
