BetMGM is relaunching its Borgata online platform in Pennsylvania on July 3 right before America’s 250th birthday with new games, features and a rewards hub.
Borgata launched in New Jersey back in 2013 and essentially introduced iGaming. The operator entered the Pennsylvania online casino market in February 2021. It’s BetMGM’s second skin, which also operates BetMGM Casino PA.
Borgata Casino PA has been a key contributor to the market. Customers are now about to experience the latest upgrades the operator is implementing.

What’s new on the platform
Borgata is a seasoned platform with an already strong customer base, likely sharing a chunk in each state.
The app now sorts everything into a fixed top tab bar and a matching bottom menu, so getting from one section to another takes fewer taps.
The account hub now puts bonus offers, playable funds and withdrawable funds on a single screen, so players aren’t hunting through menus to check their balance. Recently played and favorite played games also appear right on the home screen, which shortens the amount of time searching for titles.
The new rewards hub will consolidate PA online casino bonuses, reward points and tier statuses into a single destination.
In addition, players will see now games, including online slots. The relaunch includes 4,000 games, including 250 exclusive titles and live dealer options. Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer, said:

Borgata’s impact in PA
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board does not break down PA online casino revenue by operator, only by licensee. Borgata is partnered with Rivers Casino Philadelphia, which produced $50.5 million in revenue in May.
BetRivers Casino PA and PlaySugarHouse are also partners with Rivers, so it’s difficult to tell exactly the contribution Borgata makes. In New Jersey, Borgata generated $22.4 million in May revenue, which gives a ballpark for its Pennsylvania performance.
It’s clear that Borgata has a strong product in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Fourth of July plans
The online launch coincides with plans the retail property in Atlantic City has on July 4 weekend. For those on the east side of the state, the Borgata is a popular destination.
On July 3, the property is hosting a 20-minute “fireworks spectacular.” Choreographed pyrotechnics will illuminate the Atlantic City skyline starting at 9:30 p.m.
As Prevost alluded to, BetMGM is investing in customer experience. It’s certainly perfect timing with the holiday weekend rolling around.
