Details of the Unibet Sportsbook Steelers promos

There are both digital and physical components to the new collaboration. For example, Steelers’ social media accounts will feature Unibet ads and sponsored content. The two companies will also collaborate on fan sweepstakes.

Unibet will sponsor Steelers-themed events in the community as well. The highlight of those will actually take place at Heinz Field during Steelers home games. A new Unibet Tailgate Zone will offer fans opportunities to meet Steelers alumni.

Turning marketing presence into sports betting dominance

Unibet has been the Eagles’ official casino partner since October of 2019, then adding official sports betting partner to that collaboration in October of last year. The casino app also offers an exclusive Eagles-themed online blackjack game in PA.

Unibet Casino gives players free play on that title every Sunday. Despite that strong brand presence in Philly and integration of Eagles’ trademarks into its product, Unibet accounted for just 1.4% of the market share in PA for the fiscal year 2019-20.

There are few better ways to improve that percentage than by simply raising bettors’ awareness of the product. In the coming NFL betting season, Eagles’ and Steelers’ socials might not be the only place where Pennsylvanians see Unibet branding.

Earlier this week, the NFL announced that broadcasts of its games could feature up to six sports betting ad spots. The breakdown of that is one for each quarter plus one before each game and then another during halftime.

Of course, then there are other media forms like radio advertising, web ads, and mailers. Those could all be solid ways to support the new partnership with the Steelers and build on the collaboration with the Eagles. With the return of the NFL each year comes the return of a deluge of sportsbook marketing.
