Mohegan Pennsylvania is accepting entries for a giveaway that will award $200,000 in cash and prizes as part of its 20th anniversary celebration.
The giveaway’s earning period began Oct. 1 and runs through Nov. 14, with extra entries available to Momentum members on three days each week.
The drawings will take place Saturday, Nov. 14, the same day country artist ERNEST performs at the property.
The casino opened on Nov. 14, 2006. Its anniversary announcement also includes a separate November giveaway for a Metallica concert trip to Connecticut.
Momentum members earn extra entries three days a week
Players receive one entry for every Momentum Status Point earned during the anniversary giveaway’s earning period. The casino increases those entries on the following days:
- Fridays award 20 entries per Status Point.
- Sundays and Tuesdays award 10 entries per Status Point.
Members earn Status Points through gaming, according to Mohegan’s Momentum FAQ.
Visitors who do not already have a Momentum card can sign up for one free of charge at the Player’s Club booths. Members must be at least 21 and present valid identification.
Winners have 15 minutes to claim a prize
Players must activate their entries every hour for the Nov. 14 drawings, according to the giveaway page. Anyone selected as a winner has 15 minutes from the time of the announcement to claim their prize.
To collect a prize, winners must present their Momentum card and valid, unexpired photo identification. They are also responsible for applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
The promotion page does not yet include specific times for the Nov. 14 drawings or a detailed breakdown of the cash and other prizes available.
Players can obtain the official rules at the casino cashier cage and should review the drawing schedule and entry activation instructions before their visit. Mohegan Pennsylvania is located at 1280 Highway 315, near Wilkes-Barre.
ERNEST concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on anniversary night
ERNEST will perform in the Keystone Grand Ballroom on Nov. 14, with Cody Lohden appearing as the special guest. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. All times are Eastern.
Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster via the casino’s concert listing. Guests who want to use Momentum Dollars to pay for their tickets can purchase them at the Box Office.
The concert is open to all ages, although most areas of the property are restricted to guests 21 and older. Attendees under 21 must be accompanied by an adult, use the Hotel and Convention Center entrance, and proceed directly to the ballroom.
Separate Metallica giveaway runs Nov. 1-13
Momentum members can also earn entries for a Metallica ticket package giveaway from Nov. 1 through Nov. 13. Each Status Point earned during that period provides one entry, with the drawing scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13.
The grand prize is a package valued at $5,000 that includes a hotel stay at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, two premium Metallica tickets, a $100 dining credit, and a commemorative gift package. Four runners-up will each receive $1,250 in free slot play.
Metallica will perform at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, on Nov. 19 and Nov. 21. This promotion also requires hourly entry activation, with winners given 15 minutes to claim their prize.
