WynnBet Gains License Approval As Next Step To Launch Online Casino in Pennsylvania

Written By Chris Imperiale on December 14, 2022
WynnBet could launch as the next PA online casino.

At the monthly meeting on Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved the interactive gaming operator license for WSI US, LLC, or WynnBet. Now it’s simply a matter of time before bettors in the Keystone State receive another great online option in WynnBet Casino PA.

Pennsylvania is looking like the 10th state in the US to debut the online casino platform. It is currently available in the New Jersey online gambling market.

Those in the state waiting to use WynnBet Casino have done so patiently, as the operator initially submitted its iGaming application in October 2021. However, with that license now approved, WynnBet is likely to hit the PA casino market sooner than later.

WynnBet Casino approved for Pennsylvania gaming

Many expected WynnBet Casino to launch sometime in 2022. While that didn’t seem achievable as the month began, it is now technically possible with the company’s latest approval on Dec. 14.

This is great news for PA bettors, as there are never enough quality casino apps in each state. WynnBet is set to help PA reach 19 online casinos in total if it’s the next to launch.

Unfortunately for sports fans, it appears the WynnBet Sportsbook isn’t happening for quite some time. The operator still isn’t listed among the applicants on the PGCB’s most recent status report for sports betting.

Still, its online casino joining the state creates plenty of excitement. Since WynnBet is releasing its online casino product in a very busy market, it’s probable that it comes equipped with some great offers.

What to expect from WynnBet Casino PA

Although we won’t know its exact welcome offer and additional promos until it’s officially available for download, we can take an educated guess based on its NJ casino.

Currently, bettors in the Garden State get a new sign-up bonus of a 100% match on their first deposit, up to $1,000. The NJ WynnBet also hands out 250 free spins to those who accumulate more than $250 in wagers over the first 10 days on the app.

So, PA bettors might not see identical promos, but the NJ welcome offer provides a good idea of what to expect.

WynnBet’s casino app went live in NJ for both Apple and Android devices. Once playing with the online casino, most notice a user-friendly interface. This is consistent across its mobile app and website version.

One of the best parts of WynnBet is its variety of game types. With a wide range of options, the online casino appeals to a large audience. PA bettors can expect to find the following types of games when the operator hits the market:

  • Video poker
  • Live dealer games
  • Online blackjack
  • Online craps
  • Jackpot slots
  • Megaways slots
  • Classic slots
  • Online baccarat
  • Online roulette

We will continue to update WynnBet Casino’s launch date as more information becomes available.
