Pennsylvania collectors can now buy digital packs that each contain a real basketball, football, or Pokémon trading card through PrizePicks.

Packs cost $1 to $2,500. Customers can have their randomly selected cards shipped to them, or when eligible, they can sell them back to the company.

PrizePicks announced the launch of PrizePicks Packs Oct. 21. The product is available in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Customers need a verified account and must meet age and eligibility requirements.

Nine pack tiers offer different card values and odds

Customers choose a category and one of nine price tiers through the PrizePicks app’s Packs tab. Higher-priced packs offer better chances of receiving more valuable cards.

Before paying, buyers can review minimum and maximum card values, available high-value cards, and the odds for different value ranges.

PrizePicks says its $1 packs normally contain cards valued between 30 cents and $20, while also offering a chance at rarer cards outside that range.

PrizePicks listed the following cards as available across all pack tiers at launch, with estimated values supplied by the company.

  • Cooper Flagg rookie NBA debut patch autograph card: A 2025/26 Topps Chrome Update card graded PSA 10 and valued at $8.04 million
  • Pikachu Illustrator card: A 1998 Japanese CoroCoro Comic promotional card graded CGC Mint 9 and valued at $2,806,271
  • Dylan Harper rookie NBA debut patch autograph card: A 2025/26 Topps Chrome Update card graded PSA 9 and valued at $2.88 million
  • Kon Knueppel rookie NBA debut patch autograph card: A 2025/26 Topps Chrome Update card graded PSA 10 and valued at $2.34 million

Buyback offers depend on card value and eligibility

PrizePicks advertises an instant buyback option at 100% of a card’s stated fair market value. That estimate can differ from the pack’s purchase price.

Sale proceeds are credited to the customer’s PrizePicks balance.

However, the Packs terms allow certain cards to be designated for shipping only. Those cards cannot be sold back to PrizePicks, and their status is disclosed after purchase.

Customers have a limited window to arrange shipping

Buyers who want the physical card can add it to their Locker and request delivery through the app. Shipping fees and applicable taxes are calculated after the customer enters their information.

The company’s help center currently lists a 24-hour decision window, while its terms allow the Locker period to vary. Customers should follow the deadline displayed for their purchase.

PrizePicks automatically buys back eligible cards at the stated value if the customer takes no action before the deadline. Shipping-only cards are sent to the account’s address under separate terms.

Delivery typically takes one to three weeks after shipment is requested, depending on the storage facility holding the card. Customers can track delivery through their account or an emailed link.

Account controls include deposit limits, timeouts, and self-exclusion

Customers can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits through the Responsible Gaming menu in their account. Alerts can also notify them when account activity exceeds selected thresholds.

Temporary timeouts lasting between one and 30 days allow customers to pause deposits. Self-exclusion blocks account access and marketing notifications for 30 days or longer, with a lifetime option also available.

Pennsylvania also offers separate self-exclusion programs for licensed gambling activities. Customers should review their coverage separately from PrizePicks’ account restrictions.

Customers can read more about recognizing harmful gambling habits and find support through responsible gambling resources if they are concerned about their spending.
