Evolution plans to expand its North American casino lineup with Ice Fishing, a faster-paced live game show, and Spinning Whale, a slots brand designed around US player preferences.
The company confirmed Ice Fishing’s fourth-quarter rollout in its third-quarter report, published Oct. 23. Spinning Whale’s wider North American network debut is scheduled for November. Neither announcement named participating Pennsylvania online casinos or provided a state-specific launch date.
In an October 2025 interview with PlayPennsylvania, Evolution North America CEO Jacob Claesson said Crazy Time had quickly become one of its top-performing titles after launching in Pennsylvania in 2024.
Claesson also said game shows can introduce new players to live dealer games and complement traditional table games such as blackjack, roulette, craps, and baccarat.
Spinning Whale starts with a slot inspired by casino floors
Spinning Whale will make its debut with 888 Dragon’s Fortune Hold’n’Win, an Asian-themed game inspired by traditional land-based slots and adapted for US online players.
Evolution introduced the brand in September, explaining that North American players can have different preferences for online slots, including their themes, features, visual presentation, and volatility.
A slot’s volatility reflects how its possible payouts are distributed, including the balance between frequent smaller wins and less frequent larger payouts. Additional Spinning Whale games are planned for 2027.
Ice Fishing combines a money wheel with three fishing bonuses
Ice Fishing first launched internationally on Aug. 6, 2025. Evolution developed the live casino game around shorter rounds and quicker results, with a 53-segment virtual wheel deciding whether play produces a direct payout or moves into a fishing bonus.
Players place wagers on the outcomes they want to back before each spin. Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are the direct-payout options. The other individual betting spots lead to Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges, and Huge Reds, the game’s three fishing bonuses.
An All Bonuses option covers all three types of bonus segments. Players can also select multiple individual spots, including a combination of Leaf and bonus wagers.
Evolution’s game guide lists the starting multiplier ranges for each fishing bonus. Lil’ Blues offers 3x to 100x, Big Oranges offers 4x to 200x, and Huge Reds offers 10x to 500x.
Players choose their wagers before any extra multipliers are assigned. After betting closes, the game may apply boosts of up to 10x to wheel segments before the spin. These can increase a winning Leaf payout or raise all fish multipliers in the corresponding fishing bonus.
During a bonus, the host gradually reels in a fish, revealing the final multiplier when the catch leaves the water. Combining the highest Huge Reds result with a 10x boost produces the advertised maximum of 5,000 times the wager.
North America grows faster than Evolution’s overall business
Evolution reported a 13.6% year-over-year revenue increase in North America during the third quarter of 2026, compared with companywide growth of 3.7%.
Group net revenue was equivalent to approximately $584 million for July through September 2026, up from about $562.9 million in the same period of 2025.
Evolution also said every region recorded revenue growth compared with the preceding quarter. It was the first time since 2024 that all regions had posted quarter-over-quarter gains.
