Pennsylvania online casinos opened 2026 with another massive month, as operators combined to generate more than $316.2 million in gross iGaming revenue in January, according to figures released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The market got off to a great start, displaying a nearly 18% year-over-year increase despite a 2.5% month-over-month decrease. The slight drop came from a record-breaking December of $324.3 million.

It’s still the second-best month ever for operators and the fourth straight month eclipsing $300 million.

Slots once again power the market

Online slots produced $261.7 million in January revenue, accounting for more than 82% of the overall iGaming total. Table games added $51.9 million, while online poker contributed $2.5 million.

The tax structure once again amplified slots’ impact. Because online slots are taxed at a significantly higher rate than table games and poker, they generated the bulk of the $113.2 million in total tax revenue collected from iGaming during the month.

January also saw operators spend $66.9 million on promotions, reflecting the continued competition in one of the nation’s most mature iGaming markets.

Hollywood Casino leads the pack

Hollywood Penn National remained the clear market leader in January as it is partnered with DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, Fanatics Casino and Hollywood. The licensee reported $121.1 million in total revenue as slots accounted for $96.9 million of that figure. Table games generated $23.5 million and poker added $697,303.

Valley Forge Casino Resort, partnered with FanDuel Casino, followed with $89.2 million in total revenue, including $72.9 million from slots and $16.3 million from table games.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia rounded out the top three at $48.6 million. The property’s online slots produced $43.1 million, with table games contributing just under $5 million.

Strong showings across the board

Harrah’s Philadelphia posted $18.4 million in January revenue, while Golden Nugget reported $9 million. Parx Casino generated $7.9 million, and Presque Isle Downs brought in $5.9 million – including more than $2 million from table games, one of the stronger table performances outside the top tier.

Among other operators, Nittany Mall produced $5.1 million in revenue. Wind Creek Bethlehem reported $3.2 million, and Mohegan Pennsylvania recorded nearly $3 million.

Mount Airy Casino Resort stood out in poker, generating $794,501 of its $2.7 million total from online poker – one of the more significant poker contributions in the state for the month.

Pennsylvania remains one of the largest regulated iGaming markets in the US, and January’s results show the industry continuing its steady momentum into 2026.

Just from January’s results, the industry would be on track for $3.79 billion in yearly Pennsylvania online casino revenue, which would surpass 2025’s total of $3.46 billion.
