Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is continuing its 17th anniversary promotions beyond the Aug. 9 milestone, with the next drawings scheduled for Aug. 14.
The anniversary comes during a period of change for the Pittsburgh property, which recently received approval for a major gaming floor overhaul from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The project includes removing 132 older slot machines, adding 30 high-limit machines, and renovating that section. Rivers also plans to add a high-limit parlor and a separate VIP area, and update the Spiral Bar.
Most of the improvements are expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2027.
Three Friday drawing dates remain
Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will hold its remaining anniversary drawings at 4, 5, 6, and 7 p.m. on Aug. 14, 21, and 28. The top cash prize each week is $5,000.
The entry period opened at 6 a.m. on Aug. 1 and runs through 6:59 p.m. on Aug. 28. Rush Rewards members receive one entry for every five tier points earned. Tuesdays offer five times the standard number of entries.
Players must swipe their rewards card at a promotional kiosk between 2 p.m. and 6:59 p.m. on drawing days to activate their entries. Complete rules and prize details are available at the Rush Rewards Players Club.
Jackpot Party offers $15,000 top prize
Rivers will hold its $150,000 Jackpot Party at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Players receive one entry for every taxable slot jackpot won between Jan. 1 and Aug. 26.
Entry totals are updated weekly and can be checked at a promotional kiosk. On drawing night, members must swipe at a kiosk beginning at 6 p.m. to activate their entries.
Ten players will be selected to spin a prize wheel, with a top prize of $15,000. Winners must be present and provide a valid photo ID and Rush Rewards membership card. Guests must also be at least 21 years old to enter the gaming floor.
Ford F-150 giveaway follows in September
Entries are also open for a 2026 Ford F-150 giveaway scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6.
Qualifying drawings will take place at 5, 6, 7, and 8 p.m., followed by a finale. The grand-prize winner can choose the truck, cash, or free slot play, although Rivers has not listed the value of the two alternatives.
Ford entries have been accumulating since 6 a.m. on Aug. 1 at a rate of one for every five tier points. Only slot and table game play qualifies; sportsbook and poker activity is excluded.
Claiming the grand prize requires the winner to be present at the casino and provide a valid photo ID and Rush Rewards membership card. Rivers notes that the truck shown in promotional materials is for display purposes and that the vehicle awarded may have different details, options, or packages.
When Rivers opened on Aug. 9, 2009, Pennsylvania law allowed only slot machines on its gaming floor. Table games were approved the following year, while the property’s retail sportsbook officially opened in December 2018.
