Through the partnership, Betway branding now appears on the ice and boards during Flyers home games at the Wells Fargo Center.

Mike Shane, Chief Business Officer for the Flyers, said in a press release:

“As an organization, we focus on partnering with innovative, forward-thinking brands who understand not only where the sports industry is right now, but also where it’s going. This partnership with Betway is a great match for our organization, and thanks to our league-leading social media platforms and our consistently strong TV ratings, we’re able to provide our partners with incredible exposure and reach.”

Betway partners with Sixers, too

In late October, Betway partnered with the Flyers Wells Fargo Center “roommate” the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers deal makes Betway an official partner of the team and gives them:

  • Signage displayed throughout the Wells Fargo Center during locally televised 76ers regular-season home games
  • Visibility on team bench aprons, courtside LEDs and basket stanchion LEDS throughout the games.
  • Betway’s marks will also be seen on TV-visible signage alongside the scorers’ table.

Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, said:

“Continuing the growth of the brand, we’re thrilled to add the Philadelphia Flyers to our burgeoning North American portfolio. Betway now has a major presence in the fanatical sporting city of Philadelphia. The Flyers are one of the most popular teams in the NHL, setting social media and TV viewership records. So, this partnership will give us huge exposure to fans throughout Pennsylvania who have access to our products.”

Flyers ahead of sports betting integration into arenas

At the start of the 2019/2020 season, the Flyers opened the Rivers Casino Philadelphia Sports Lounge on the Main Concourse level and the BetRivers.com Sports Lounge, located on the New City Terrace.

The Rivers Casino Philadelphia Sports Lounge is on the Main Concourse level. The 5,680 square-foot space features ten 86″ screens grouped throughout the seating areas, mixed with odds boards and an additional 16 monitors at the bar.

The BetRivers.com Sports Lounge, located on the New City Terrace, faces the bowl so fans can watch the action as it happens below. The nearly 6,500-square-foot lounge has club chairs, bar and table seating, as well as a custom 22-feet long by eight feet tall LED video wall.

NBC Sports and PointsBet

NBC Sports will broadcast 69 of the Flyers 82 regular season games. In August 2020, NBCUniversal and PointsBet announced a multiyear partnership that made PointsBet the official sports betting partner of NBC Sports. PointsBet is integrated into Flyers pre and post game shows with segments such as “Story Lines powered by Points Bet.”
