Pulisic leads the US team into the 2022 World Cup.

The most popular sporting event in the world is upon us. The 2022 FIFA World Cup is set to kick off on Nov. 20 and run through Dec. 18 in Qatar.

There are a ton of great spots in Pennsylvania to watch a game. While you’re watching a match, there are plenty of ways to bet on the World Cup. Soccer fans can find a bunch of different markets for upcoming games and futures through Pennsylvania sportsbooks.

Odds to win 2022 FIFA World Cup

The defending champions of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, France, is among the top favorites to win the World Cup again this year.

DraftKings PA sportsbook has the following odds:

  • Denmark +2200
  • Uruguay +4000
  • Croatia +5000

USA has the 16th-best odds, tied with Mexico, at +13000.

Different ways to bet on the 2022 FIFA World Cup

The easiest way to bet on a World Cup game is simply betting the moneyline in regular time, which does not include overtime or shootouts.

For example, for Qatar’s first game against Ecuador, bettors can bet the following on DraftKings:

  • Qatar to win in regular time: +230
  • Ecuador to win in regular time: +140
  • Draw: +205

Bettors can also wager on a draw no bet, meaning if the game ends in a draw, the sportsbook views it as a push:

  • Qatar: +125
  • Ecuador: -160

Totals and spreads are also available, but heavily juiced. For Qatar-Ecuador, the over of 2.5 is +160 and the under is -210.

Bettors that don’t bet on the outcome of a game can look at various props and specials, such as group winner to win the World Cup, selecting a specific team to win the group and highest scoring group.

On FanDuel PA sportsbook, bettors can bet on the stage of elimination for a certain team.

DraftKings also offers total specials:

  • 0-0 draws in the tournament: Over 4.5 (-120) / Under 4.5 (-120)
  • Draws in the tournament: Over 14.5 (-140) / Under 14.5 (+100)
  • Tournament red cards: Over 8.5 (-120) / Under 8.5 (+100)
  • Tournament yellow cards: Over 220.5 (-110) / Under 220.5 (-110)

US Men’s Soccer odds and schedule for 2022 FIFA World Cup

USA is in Group B along with Wales, Iran and England, and the schedule is as follows. Games can be viewed on TV on FOX, FS1 or Telemundo. Streaming options include Peacock, Fubo, SlingTV and Vidgo.

  • Monday, Nov. 21, 2 p.m.: USA vs. Wales
  • Friday, Nov. 25, 2 p.m.: USA vs. England
  • Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2 p.m.: USA vs. Iran

USA is a short favorite on DraftKings for its opening match:

  • USA to win in regular time: +165
  • Wales to win in regular time: +195
  • Draw: +195

In the draw no bet market, USA is -125 and Wales is -105.

USA is +500 with Wales to win Group B. England is the favorite at -280.

Hershey, PA’s own Christian Pulisic is a top player on the US and he’s the favorite to lead the US in goal scoring at +300 on DraftKings.

USA did not qualify for the World Cup in 2018 for the first time since 1986.

Outside of finishing in third place in 1930, the USMNT has never made it past the quarterfinal round. The last time they got there was in 2002.
