The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that fiscal year gaming revenue topped $7 billion for the first time ever in 2025/2026. The biggest reason for that can be pointed to iGaming operators.

Pennsylvania online casino revenue reached $303.1 million in June, which set a record of nearly $3.7 billion in gross revenue for the fiscal year.

To put the record into perspective, PA real money online casinos reported $3.5 billion in gross revenue in the 2025 calendar year. The 2025/2026 fiscal year set the record for any 12-month period.

Climbing the PA ladder

The iGaming vertical has become the largest in the Keystone State, even surpassing Pennsylvania retail casinos.

There are 18 land-based properties in the state, and together, they reached $3.3 billion in slots and table games revenue during the fiscal year. That includes revenue from Happy Valley Casino, which opened its doors in late April.

iGaming operators grew considerably from the 2024/2025 fiscal year, producing $3.1 billion, but that total did not eclipse retail properties, which generated $3.4 billion in slots and table games revenue.

There has been a changing of the guard in Pennsylvania, as iGaming has become the top gambling option in the state.

Is the market stabilizing?

June’s total was the state’s lowest mark since February, when it recorded $300.1 million in revenue. The market declined at a rate of 5.6% month-over-month.

The year-over-year growth has been telling in Pennsylvania. While the market has continued to grow, the rates have slowed considerably. The rate did increase from this point last year at a 14.2% clip.

Despite the increase, the rate was not nearly as high as it was in 2025. Here are the growth rates over the last six years:

After the growth rate decreased in the first three months, it has grown ever-so-slightly over the last two.

On pace for another yearly record

In six months, iGaming operators are set to break another 12-month record. The industry is on pace to generate nearly $3.8 billion over the 2026 calendar year.

That would best the 2025/2026 fiscal year record and would easily clear the 2025 total.

Even though the market appears to be hitting a stabilization period, it is still growing; just at a slower pace. Operators will continue to rely on PA online casino bonuses to gain a competitive advantage.

The summer is typically down from the spring and fall. Totals could climb above $320 million when September rolls around. The question still remains: how much more can operators grow?
