Parx Casino has officially expanded its footprint in Pennsylvania’s competitive gaming and hospitality market with the opening of its long-awaited on-site hotel.
The Bensalem property held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week to mark the debut of Parxview Hotel, a 160-room, fully smoke-free facility designed to transform the property into a true overnight destination.
Parx adds hotel to become full destination
Located steps from the gaming floor and about 20 minutes from Center City Philadelphia, the new hotel represents a significant investment in the Bucks County property as it looks to attract more regional visitors, including those from New York and New Jersey.
Eric Hausler, CEO of Parx Casino, said the hotel turns Parx from a location into a destination.
“This hotel transforms Parx into a true overnight destination. Guests can now enjoy everything we offer – from gaming and dining to live entertainment – while staying in a premier hotel experience.”
Parxview Hotel features four room categories, including 16 suites, with a focus on modern design and upscale amenities. The property includes a fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool deck, and complimentary parking. Guests also have access to a shuttle service connecting the hotel and casino.
A new dining option, Bistro at Parxview Hotel, will serve as an on-site restaurant offering casual upscale fare, cocktails, and a social gathering space.
Filling a long-standing gap at Parx
A hotel has long been seen as a missing piece for Parx, which is one of the top-performing casinos in Pennsylvania by revenue. The property produced $573.9 million in slots and table games revenue in 2025, which led all gambling venues in the state.
With more than 180,000 square feet of gaming space, the property offers thousands of slot machines, table games, poker, and a retail sports wagering site, along with entertainment at the Xcite Center.
For years, competitors in the Philadelphia market have leaned on hotel and entertainment amenities to drive overnight stays and increase customer spending. Parx’s move brings it more in line with those offerings.
Local tourism and economic impact
Paul Bencivengo, president and CEO of Visit Bucks County, said the hotel will provide a boost to the region’s economy.
“The opening of Parxview Hotel is exciting news for Bucks County’s tourism and hospitality industry. It adds a new luxury property to the region, attracting visitors to stay in Bucks County and helping to support local jobs.”
The move also aligns with broader trends across Pennsylvania’s gaming industry, where casinos continue to invest in non-gaming amenities to remain competitive.
Parx joins Live! Casino Philadelphia and Valley Forge Casino Resort as properties in Southeastern Pennsylvania with lodging options for patrons. Rivers Casino Philadelphia opened a 62-room luxury hotel in December 2023. Other facilities with hotels across the state include:

Strengthening Northeast appeal
For Parx, the hotel is expected to enhance customer retention by allowing visitors to extend their stay without leaving the property.
The launch of Parxview Hotel marks the latest phase in the property’s evolution as it looks to strengthen its position as a leading gaming and entertainment destination in the Northeast.
With the addition, Parx now offers a fully integrated “stay-and-play” experience, catering to weekend travelers, event-goers, and gaming customers seeking convenience alongside luxury accommodations.
