A Hollywood Online Casino Pennsylvania customer turned a $5.10 bet into $4,365,327 on Aug. 30.
That’s the largest single payout in Hollywood Casino’s history. It’s also the largest confirmed Pennsylvania online casino jackpot ever, surpassing the state’s previous record by a wide margin.
The money came from DropZone, Hollywood Casino’s progressive jackpot pool, while the customer was playing Rome Fight for Gold: The Tiger’s Rage. It’s a slot from developer Foxium distributed through Games Global.
Hollywood Casino has not identified the winner.
How Hollywood Casino’s DropZone jackpot works
DropZone runs across Hollywood Casino’s entire game catalog, not one title. Players opt in, pay a small add-on with every spin, and get a random shot at one of four pooled prizes: mini, minor, major, and grand.
In Pennsylvania, that add-on is fixed at 10 cents a spin. Players in Michigan, New Jersey, and West Virginia, the other states where Hollywood Casino operates, get to pick from four contribution tiers instead.
Rome Fight for Gold: The Tiger’s Rage just happened to be the game running when the grand jackpot hit. Any participating title marked with the DropZone icon on its game tile carries the same odds.
Where Pennsylvania’s online casino jackpot record now stands
The previous mark belonged to DraftKings Casino, a $2.3 million win on Cash Eruption in January 2024. A player on Mohegan Sun Online Casino Pennsylvania collected $506,000 in December 2025.
Hollywood Casino’s payout dwarfs the old DraftKings jackpot.
Nationally, Pennsylvania’s new high still trails Michigan. A DraftKings Casino Michigan customer walked away with $22.4 million on a 20-cent spin in November 2025, the largest online casino jackpot ever recorded in the US.
