Harrah’s Philadelphia undergoing more remodeling

The poker room was the last of major renovations that started last fall in a bid to attract new customers. The new sportsbook, The Book, officially opened in January. In addition, The Topgolf Swing Suite opened in February.

Meanwhile, the casino and racetrack’s seasonal patio bar opens in May. So, horse racing enthusiasts get another locale to enjoy the daily races.

General Manager Chris Albrecht told the Philadelphia Business Journal:

“The poker room was moved from racing level to casino floor to have all gaming action on one floor. It was part of the re-imagination of the back of the casino with new sportsbook and Topgolf.”

That is to say, these new additions and renovations “are aimed at keeping customers happy and to attract new blood to the facility,” Albrecht said.

When is Harrah’s Philadelphia online gambling launching?

Consequently, the renovation and unveiling of the new poker room is timed before the expected launch of Harrah’s online casino on July 15.

Keep in mind that Harrah’s and 888 have an existing partnershipTherefore, we expect to see 888 Poker along with the WSOP.com brands. PA online poker is due to launch sometime in summer 2019. It could be ready by the big rollout on July 15.
