PA Casinos Show Gratitude With Thanksgiving and Black Friday Gambling and Dining Offers

Written By Kevin Shelly on November 23, 2021

Thanksgiving, rather than quietly staying at home or visiting Aunt Gertrude once again to pick at her dried-out turkey with grated carrots on the side, isn’t your only holiday option. Pennsylvania’s land-based casinos and online casinos offer excellent options for really celebrating.

The tasty options on the menu for PA gamblers range from online slot races at Stars Casino to mega food spreads at many PA casinos.

We’ll survey some of the offerings here.

Thanksgiving dining and casino promotions at PA casinos

Hollywood Casino serves up turkey and Super Bowl prizes

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course‘s Final Cut offers a special menu from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday. It includes a Cornish hen at $29, with add-ons such as apple stuffing, a sweet potato puree and pumpkin fritters. Also, there is a pie giveaway in the H Lounge based on rewards tier status.

With football traditionally part of the holiday, football is one of their big promotions with the start of a Big Game Ticket drawing.

Visit a marketing kiosk at the casino and enter your NFL picks. Each week, the player with the best picks increases their chance of selection in the final drawing on February 5.

The top winner gets two Super Bowl tickets for 25 years plus airfare and room accommodations not to exceed $15,000 in total expense each year. The winner can instead opt for a single lump-sum payment of $262,325.

The recently renamed Hollywood Casino at the Meadows is also promoting the Big Game Ticket drawing.

The recently-opened Hollywood Casino York, a mini-casino, is playing up big screen TV football viewing along with a traditional menu at its Dinner & Drinks dining venue for just $25. Hollywood Casino York is also offering a pick the most winners promo on football, but it is called Choose the Champs and offers a top prize of $225,000. The game runs until January 9.
