Pennsylvania Casinos Roll Out March Madness Watch Parties, Betting Promotions

Pennsylvania casinos are prepared for another year of March Madness betting with tons of promotions and viewing parties for the big weekend.

Fans can bet on the NCAA Tournament at the casinos themselves, or on Pennsylvania online sportsbooks.

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is pulling out all of the stops for nonstop weekend of hoops.

Watch party in Pittsburgh

College basketball fans can spend the entire day at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh by purchasing a March Mania Watch Party ticket. Depending on seating, tickets cost between $117 to $452.

Guests are able to enjoy a lunch and dinner buffet from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., respectively. The casino said the following foods will be made available:

  • Broccoli, Bacon, and Cheddar Slaw: honey mustard dressing
  • Three Foot Hoagie Board: salami, capicola, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar
  • Pretzel Bite Bar: beer cheese sauce, bacon and onion jam, sour cream and chive dip, horseradish cream, french onion dip
  • Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Hoagie: sauerkraut, spicy mustard
  • Crispy Chicken Slider: hot honey dipped, dill pickle slaw, potato bun
  • Tortellini Pasta Salad: parmesan, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomato, balsamic dressing, basil
  • Corned Beef Sandwich Round: swiss, creamy coleslaw
  • Nacho Bar: cheese sauce, jalapeno, black olive, pico de gallo
  • Cheeseburger Sliders: lettuce, tomato, onion, condiments
  • Buffalo Chicken Wings: ranch, bleu cheese, celery sticks

The Philadelphia location is also having a watch party for the games. Both properties have a BetRivers Sportsbook to wager at.

Wings for 75 cents at Mohegan

Mohegan Pennsylvania is getting in on the March Madness action with tournament viewing and food specials across its property in Wilkes-Barre. Throughout the tournament, fans can catch games at several venues, including the Mohegan Pennsylvania Sportsbook and The Hive Taphouse, creating a lively atmosphere for college basketball enthusiasts.

During the opening round, The Hive Taphouse will feature game-day food and drink specials while showing tournament games on high-definition screens throughout the venue. From noon to 5 p.m., guests can enjoy 75-cent wings, while $4 16-ounce draft beers will be available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The bar will also offer a special Spicy Mango Madness Margarita tied to the tournament.

Guests 21 and older can also place college basketball bets at the on-site sports venue or at wagering terminals across the casino floor, with options including straight bets, parlays, moneylines, props, and live betting during the games.

Drink specials at Live! Casino Philadelphia

Live Casino Philadelphia is serving drink specials for the big weekend, which include:

  •    $5 Ice Cold Jäger Shots
  •    $10 Berlin Mule: Jägermeister, lime juice, ginger beer, mint

In addition, the property is giving away complimentary Jäger swag, giveaways, and exclusive discounts on Jäger drinks. There’s also a FanDuel Sportsbook inside the casino where fans can wager on the action.

Parx Casino promotions

Parx Casino is hosting betPARX Mania Week, which includes slots promotions and a pop-a-shot challenge.

The casino did not disclose specifics but said that “big prizes” are available on its website. There are also gameday promotions and giveaways all weekend long.

Hollywood offerings

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows and Penn National Race course is providing packages for college basketball fans. A $50 ticket gets a recliner for all the action.

For parties of four, a $100 food and beverage credit is available.
