The biggest thrill of playing slots or tables at Pennsylvania casinos is the potential to win a large jackpot. Live! Casino Philadelphia and Pittsburgh’s joint Giant Jackpot promotion gives customers that chance.

Though the occurrence is rare, it’s possible for customers to walk out of casinos with life-changing amounts of money. Several players won big this month at Live! Casino properties in PA.

Live! Casino Philadelphia produces largest jackpot winner ever

If you haven’t heard by now, a customer at Live! Casino Philadelphia hit the largest progressive jackpot ever since opening in 2021.

Pete Mitchell, of Narberth, PA, won $936,996 playing Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em over Memorial Day weekend. Mitchell went all-in on the final hand and was dealt a royal flush to win nearly $1 million.

Mitchell wasn’t the only customer in May to walk away with a large sum of money. The next highest individual in May took home $95,104.

Another individual earned $53,606 playing on the Dragon Link Panda Magic slot machine.

A Live! Casino Philadelphia spokesman told PlayPennsylvania:

“We’re thrilled to congratulate all of our guests who got lucky at Live! in May, including Pete Mitchell, who won an astounding $936,996 Texas Hold ‘Em jackpot over Memorial Day weekend. It’s the largest progressive jackpot ever won on slots or table games at Live! Philadelphia since opening.

“It’s no wonder why Live! Philadelphia was voted the Best Overall Casino in PA. Patrons have even more reason to try their luck with the launch of Giant Jackpots, a new mystery slots progressive program for Live! Rewards Card members that guarantee jackpot wins from $50,000 to $100,000.”

While it may not be life-changing, two other top winners at Live! Casino Philadelphia also hit for $37,453 and $35,936 in May.

Live! Casino Pittsburgh features big jackpot wins

Live! Casino Pittsburgh did not include any winners close to $1 million, but plenty of winners cashed out in May.

The top winner last month connected for $52,037.05, playing a Wonder 4 Boost Gold titled slot.

Two additional players won large jackpots enjoying the Piggy Bankin slot. One person took home $40,200 and the other won $37,648.10.

Another popular slot title Golden Century yielded a customer $37,854.69 on the first day of May.

Live! Casino Pittsburgh included other big customer wins, as well:

  • $37,854.69
  • $30,655.61
  • $28,308.37
  • $25,000 (twice)

Giant Jackpots going strong at Live! PA casino properties

Live! Casino Philadelphia and Pittsburgh introduced the Giant Jackpot promotion last month.

All customers have to do is play a slot machine that is eligible for the promotion.

The jackpot starts at $50,000 and grows every time a player at Live! Casino Philadelphia and Pittsburgh makes a spin at an eligible slot.

The Live! locations are the first set of properties to offer joint progressive slot jackpots. The casinos are guaranteeing Giant Jackpot winners at or before the pot reaches $100,000. The jackpot resets to $50,000 when someone wins.
