Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is set to elevate its dining offerings through a new partnership with celebrity chef and Food Network personality Jet Tila.
The Cordish Companies announced Tuesday that Tila will bring a selection of his signature Asian-inspired dishes to the casino’s Luk Fu restaurant, with the revamped menu debuting in May at Live! Casino Philadelphia.
New menu to debut in South Philly
The collaboration, branded “Luk Fu by Jet Tila,” will launch exclusively at the South Philadelphia property before expanding to other Live! Casino locations later this year.
At Live! Philadelphia, guests can expect Tila’s dishes to be integrated into Luk Fu’s existing menu, adding a modern twist to the restaurant’s Asian cuisine offerings.
The move is part of an ongoing effort by the casino to enhance its non-gaming amenities. The goal is to attract a broader audience in the competitive Philadelphia market.
Well-known chef brings star power
Tila is a recognizable figure in the culinary world. He’s known for appearances on “Iron Chef America,” “Beat Bobby Flay,” and “Tournament of Champions.” He is also a James Beard Award nominee and Guinness world record-holder.
Tila’s experience blending traditional and modern Asian flavors makes him a strong fit for the property’s dining lineup, said Rob Norton, president of Cordish Gaming Group.

Enhancing the property experience
For Live! Casino Philadelphia, the partnership underscores a broader strategy of investing in food and beverage offerings as a way to drive visitation.
Located in the South Philadelphia Stadium District, the property competes not only with other gaming properties in Pennsylvania but also with the city’s extensive restaurant scene.
Tila said he is looking forward to introducing his dishes to Philadelphia guests:

Tila will arrive just in time for busy summer for Live! Casino Philadelphia, in which the World Cup and MLB All-Star games are slated in the Stadium District.
