BetMGM and Pittsburgh Steelers Double Down on Partnership, Add New Fan Promotions

BetMGM and the Pittsburgh Steelers are doubling down on their collaboration, announcing an extension of their partnership through the 2029 NFL season.

The deal solidifies BetMGM as the team’s official PA sports betting, PA online casino and gaming partner while expanding fan engagement opportunities both in-stadium and online.

10 years of free season tickets

The renewed agreement continues BetMGM’s efforts to blend gaming with the traditions of Steelers football, highlighted by the return of the Decade of Black & Gold Sweepstakes.

Each year of the partnership, one fan in Pennsylvania or West Virginia will win 10 years of lower bowl season tickets and hospitality passes for all home games. It’s one of the longest-running, team-based prize promotions in professional sports, said Casey Hurbis, chief marketing officer for BetMGM.

“This partnership extension allows BetMGM to continue delivering experiences that reflect the energy and passion of Steelers Nation.

“From game day activations to exclusive Steelers-branded casino games and the amazing opportunity to win 10 years of season tickets, we’re focused on creating memorable moments for fans.”

Fans can enter Decade of Black & Gold Sweepstakes VI through the BetMGM app’s promotions section until Jan. 4. Each weekly opt-in counts as one entry, with an extra entry available for players who wager $25 or more on pro football. The offer is valid only in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

New iGaming title and fan experiences

BetMGM is also debuting Steel City Slingo, a new addition to its lineup of Steelers-branded online games, and introducing an in-stadium promo rewarding casino players when the Steelers score three or more touchdowns in a game.

Ryan Huzjak, the Steelers’ senior VP of business operations, said fans can expect new activations under the extended deal.

“We are very excited to build upon the success of our partnership with BetMGM. Fans will notice new in-game elements and opportunities in addition to the existing Steelers-branded casino games and the fan-favorite Decade of Black & Gold promotion.”

The partnership will also feature hospitality and VIP events, digital media integrations, and enhanced responsible gambling messaging, which include videoboard takeovers before every Steelers home game.
