Monopoly Casino is the newest online casino platform in the Keystone State, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board confirmed to PlayPennsylvania on Friday morning.

It is operated through Bally’s, which now has two skins in the state.

PGCB Communications Director Doug Harbach said Monopoly conducted a soft launch earlier this week and was granted full approval to go live on Thursday afternoon.

Monopoly is the 24nd Pennsylvania online casino.

Monopoly offers welcome bonus

Pennsylvania does not have a cap on the amount of brands a company can have within the state. Bally’s already has its own brand, Bally Online Casino, and now joins the likes of DraftKings and BetMGM with multiple platforms.

Monopoly sent an email to Pennsylvanians on Thursday evening announcing the launch. The message read:

“We wanted you to be among the first to know … Announcing the launch of MONOPOLY Casino in Pennsylvania! Get ready to experience the iconic world of MONOPOLY like never before.

“To celebrate the launch, we’re getting you started with a $100 Second Chance Bonus! If you don’t win with your first deposit, we’ll give you up to $100 in Bonus Money to try again. Now’s your chance to Pass GO!”

Monopoly Casino has slots, table games, and live dealer titles. It also features classic Monopoly slots with some of the staples most platforms have, including:

  • Cleopatra
  • 88 Fortunes
  • Cash Eruption

It also has Lightning Roulette, Blackjack and Roulette as live dealer offerings.

Bally’s looking to acquire more market share

Pennsylvania is the No. 1 online casino market in the US. It’s a desired landing space for new operators to launch.

Newer operators such as Bally’s, bet365 and Fanatics have had successful launches, and have maintained solid footing in the market.

Monopoly Casino currently operates in New Jersey. It produced $1.3 million in June revenue. Pennsylvania players might already be familiar with the Monopoly product, since a good chunk of people frequently cross into New Jersey.

Bally Casino generated $3.8 million in revenue last month.
