Octoplay can supply games to licensed Pennsylvania online casinos after receiving interim authorization from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The approval gives the slot developer a route into the state, although it has not announced a Pennsylvania launch.
Octoplay said it received authorization on Sept. 28, though its licensing disclosure says the PGCB granted it on Aug. 14. The company has not named a Pennsylvania casino partner.
What games could Pennsylvania casinos add?
Octoplay’s online slot catalog includes classic reel games alongside titles built around free spins, multipliers, and jackpots. Its New Jersey launches offer a closer look at the games Pennsylvania casinos could choose to add.
The developer entered the US through BetMGM Casino in New Jersey in June 2025. It later added BetRivers Casino and Hard Rock Bet Casino in the state, giving players more than one place to find its games.
Hard Rock Bet’s New Jersey launch included 777 Hot Reels and Eggsponential. In 777 Hot Reels, landing three, four, or five bonus symbols awards 12, 18, or 24 free spins.
Eggsponential takes a different approach, with a multiplier that can grow during free spins. BetRivers initially added eight Octoplay titles to its New Jersey casino, including 777 Hot Reels: Supercharged and Juicy Rolls: Feature Frenzy.
An operator’s game library can differ across states, so a slot available in New Jersey may not appear at the same casino brand in Pennsylvania.
Octoplay has also launched in Michigan. In January, the company said its games were live with BetMGM, FanDuel Casino, Fanatics Casino. and Rush Street Interactive, which operates BetRivers Casino in Pennsylvania.
BetMGM plans to bring Octoplay’s Elvis slot to Pennsylvania
BetMGM has already signaled plans to bring an Octoplay game to Pennsylvania. In April, it said Elvis Presley: Viva Las Records would be added to its other online casino markets after launching in New Jersey, Michigan, and Ontario.
Viva Las Records features a Hold & Win bonus and five jackpot tiers, including a top jackpot worth up to 2,500 times a player’s stake. It is the first in a series of Elvis slots Octoplay is developing exclusively for BetMGM.
BetMGM has not set a date for the game to arrive at its Pennsylvania online casino. Octoplay’s Sept. 28 announcement also did not name an operator or an initial game lineup for the state.
Octoplay already supplies games to FanDuel Casino and Fanatics Casino in Michigan. Both run Pennsylvania online casinos, but neither has announced plans to add Octoplay games in the state.
What remains before Octoplay games reach Pennsylvania
Interim authorization lets a game supplier move forward while the PGCB completes its full licensing process. The board’s guidance says applicants undergo an initial review and must obtain applicable product and internal control approvals.
The authorization is valid for one year. It can be extended for another year if the board has not acted on the full license, though that licensing period does not indicate when any particular game will launch.
For Pennsylvania players, the next development will be an operator announcement identifying the casino and its first Octoplay titles. Octoplay’s approval allows a Pennsylvania rollout to move forward, but the company has not announced which casino will carry its games or when they will be available.
