Rush Street Interactive, the company behind BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse, reported $385.9 million in revenue in the third quarter, up 39% from a year earlier. Online casino games accounted for three quarters of the total.

In Pennsylvania, BetRivers and the other online casinos operating under the Rivers Casino Philadelphia license generated $118.8 million after promotions, up 8.2% from a year earlier.

Pennsylvania reports online casino revenue by license holder. The Rivers Casino Philadelphia figures combine Rush Street’s BetRivers Casino and PlaySugarHouse with Borgata Online Casino, which BetMGM operates under the same state license.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia outpaces statewide online casino growth

The sites operating under the Rivers license generated $109.8 million in the same quarter last year. Statewide, online casino revenue grew 7.4% to $744 million after promotions.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia ranked third in the Pennsylvania online casino market in all three months of the quarter, behind Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course and Valley Forge Casino Resort. It accounted for about 16% of the state’s online casino revenue after promotions, roughly the same share it held a year earlier.

Online slots brought in $104 million, nearly 88% of the Rivers license’s quarterly revenue, compared with about 80% statewide. Online table games generated $13.5 million and poker added $1.3 million.

Revenue under the license fell about 5% from July to September, from $40.5 million to $38.5 million. Each month still beat its 2025 total, with August posting the biggest gain, up 9% to $39.9 million.

Meanwhile, statewide online casino revenue after promotions rose from $245.7 million in August to $249.3 million in September.

Rush Street’s active player count hits a record in the US and Canada

The company averaged a record 300,572 monthly active users in the US and Canada, up 34% from a year earlier. Rush Street counts players who wagered their own money on online casino games, poker, or sports during a given month. In the North American markets where Rush Street offers online casino games, its monthly active user count grew 42%.

Rush Street’s online casino revenue rose 32% companywide. Online sports betting revenue grew 70%, driven largely by Latin America and the World Cup. CEO Richard Schwartz called online casinos the company’s main source of profitability on the earnings call.

Rush Street reported on Oct. 28 that adjusted EBITDA, a measure of operating earnings that excludes items such as interest and taxes, rose 73% to $62.2 million. Net income nearly doubled to $28.7 million.

Revenue in the US and Canada rose 14% to $279.4 million. Latin America accounted for about two-thirds of the company’s overall revenue increase. Rush Street reports revenue by region in its quarterly filing, leaving BetRivers’ Pennsylvania revenue undisclosed.

Rush Street plans to expand its game lineup

Rush Street is developing new casino games in-house and has its own technology to run them online. CFO Kyle Sauers said games from outside suppliers still account for almost all of Rush Street’s casino revenue.

The company sees its own games as a way to stand out from other online casinos while improving its profit margins.

Pennsylvania players can already find games tailored to the BetRivers brand, including BetRivers Philly Blackjack. Schwartz said more details about the games in development would follow in the new year, though he gave no indication of whether the new titles would be available in Pennsylvania.
