BetRivers Sportsbook and the Philadelphia Eagles have struck a partnership that will offer Eagles fans using the sportsbook the chance at unique experiences.
In an era where professional teams and leagues are forging agreements with sports betting operators, new types of partnerships are also emerging. This “fan experience” arrangement will bring opportunities for BetRivers customers to gain access to special events with their favorite NFL team, as well as special online games. The partnership also includes the chance for BetRivers customers to meet some of the most famous players in Eagles history.
According to Brian Napoli, the Eagles Sr. Vice-President of Corporate Partnerships, the deal will deliver “new experiences and promotions to Eagles fans through this new partnership with BetRivers.” Napoli added that the sportsbook has a “reputation as a consumer-driven, innovative leader in the gaming space [that] will provide an added layer of value to the overall Eagles experience at Lincoln Financial Field.”
BetRivers presence already in Lincoln Financial Field
Lincoln Financial Field currently houses a BetRivers Lounge, where fans can enjoy wagering on sporting events, while watching games on television screens on-site, even when the Eagles are not in action. Under this extended partnership with the Eagles, BetRivers can provide access to a special VIP area for some of its customers at Lincoln Financial Field.
In addition to gameday experiences, BetRivers users will have the ability to access exclusive games in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, three states that have plenty of Eagles fans. It’s unclear if these exclusive games will be branded with the Eagles and NFL trademarks. Previously, a BetRivers Lounge was opened at PPG Arena, home of the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, back in 2021.
BetRivers is owned by Rush Street Interactive, which recently also announced a deal with gambling influencer Phil Hellmuth for its BetRivers Poker platform. BetRivers Sportsbook debuted in the Pennsylvania sports betting market in 2019, when it launched for the first time under that brand name. Previously, the company had operated a sportsbook called PlaySugarHouse.
The Eagles host the National Football Conference Championship this Sunday against division rival Washington. The Eagles have appeared in the Super Bowl twice in the previous seven seasons, and won its only Super Bowl title in 2018.
Currently, the Eagles, who posted a 14-3 regular season record, are six-point favorites for the NFC title game against the Commanders, which will be broadcast on FOX at 3 PM ET. The winner of Sunday’s game will play in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans against either the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.
