Parx Online Casino Serving Up Slots, Blackjack, And Roulette At Launch

And then there were two!

There was some confusion on the time of launch, but Parx Online Casino is now up and running as well.

The newest online casino in PA is integrated into one site it shares with Parx Online Sportsbook, which launched late last month. The integrated site means you can use your Parx Sportsbook credentials to log in to your Parx Online Casino account. If you have funds in the account already, you are ready to play.

Parx offering blackjack and roulette in online casino

If you followed along with Hollywood’s online casino launch earlier today, the limited number of table games was a bit disappointing. While the slot library was a decent size, the site only offered video poker and baccarat to complement them.

Parx has a few more table game titles. The site offers both American and European roulette. If you are not familiar, European roulette features a single zero, while American roulette has both the 0 and the 00 on the wheel. Your odds are noticeably better in European roulette than its US counterpart.

Additionally, Parx offers a version of blackjack for players. Like Hollywood, there are no live dealer games or progressive slots available just yet.

When it comes to free to play slots, Parx does offer some of the same titles as Hollywood as well as some unique ones, like:

  • China Shores
  • Wolf Cub
  • Night Survivor
  • Carnival in Rio

Deposit options are the same as they were for Parx Sportsbook, with a couple of new additions:

  • Play+ prepaid card
  • Maestro debit card
  • Visa/Mastercard/Discover
  • ACH/ e-check
  • Bank wire
  • Cash at the Parx cage
  • Check
  • PayNearMe

The two days of testing for Parx online casino will run on Monday and Tuesday. If the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) signs off, the site can then run 24/7.

There is no Apple option in terms of an app, but the Parx Online Casino Android app is available for download on the Parx website. If you downloaded the app for sports betting already, there is no need to download a second time.

Parx has two deposit offers for first-time customers

If you do not have funds in your account yet, you will be facing an interesting decision. Parx is offering two different first-time deposit bonus offers. One is for the sportsbook, while the other is on online casino play. Customer service says these are separate promotions, but there is currently a lack of clarity on whether or not players can redeem both.

$500 first deposit match for online casino

If you want to deposit big funds in your Parx Online Casino account from the jump, this bonus allows you to do just that. When you deposit for the first time, you can deposit up to $500, use the promo code PARX500, and the casino will match that deposit with bonus funds to use on online casino games.

That may sound simple, but if you are unfamiliar with online casino bonuses, be sure to check the fine print. In this case, the bonus comes with a 20x playthrough requirement.

A playthrough requirement is a stipulated amount of play a player has to log before any bonus funds are available for withdrawal from their account. In this instance, the playthrough is 20x for slot machines. Because the return to player is higher on table games, there are different playthrough expectations.

For roulette, bonus funds wagered on that game would need to meet a 40x playthrough requirement. For blackjack, baccarat and video poker (of which there are two versions), the playthrough rate is 100x (or at a rate of 10% what slots is).

$250 Parx Sportsbook risk-free bet

The sportsbook offer is a $250 risk-free bet with your first deposit. There is no promo code to redeem this one. You just deposit at least $10 and place a bet. If that bet loses, Parx will refund it up to $250 with bonus bet money.

This money can only be used on sports bets. Additionally, it all must be wagered through at least once before a player can withdraw it from their account.
