In the previous drawing on Friday, just one hit the second-tier prize of $1 million. The winning ticket was sold in Illinois. To hit the second-tier prize, a ticket has to match all five of the white balls drawn.
Remember when checking your tickets that the numbers don’t have to be in any particular order, since they all they come from a single pool of numbers. Your Mega Ball number is the only exception: it must match the final ball drawn, the yellow Mega Ball.
