BetMGM is an operator that is always adding fresh games to its online casino. During an investors call last week, BetMGM announced it is bringing more Wheel of Fortune games to the Pennsylvania market for online casino players in 2024.
BetMGM has released several Wheel of Fortune titles in New Jersey and has seen tremendous success. It intends to carry that over onto PA online casinos.
New Wheel of Fortune games to be available on BetMGM Pennsylvania online casino
BetMGM first launched Wheel of Fortune slots in March 2023. While it’s unknown how many games the operator released initially, there are now 11 Wheel of Fortune titles available to BetMGM players in New Jersey. Pennsylvania does have six Wheel of Fortune options, which include:
- Hawaiian Getaway
- Megways
- On Tour
- Power Wedges
- Ruby Riches
- Triple Extreme Spin
New Jersey platforms have those six, with the addition of the following five Wheel of Fortune games:
- Elegant Emeralds
- On Air
- On the Road
- Triple Gold Spin
- Winning Words Game
Company CEO, Adam Greenblatt, announced during its investors day last week that the operator is going to drop more Wheel of Fortune slots to BetMGM Casino PA. He said:
“In 2024, we plan to launch the brand in Ontario and Pennsylvania, and closely mirror the show’s own promotional calendar to create a truly differentiated iGaming experience and drive further engagement.”
BetMGM has seen some impressive engagement numbers since unveiling well-known titles such as Wheel of Fortune and the newly launched Buffalo slot. Greenblatt disclosed that nearly 50% of players are female, which is higher than the average. And since the titles are so widely known, cost per action (CPA) is “trending nearly 40% lower since our launch in March.”
Greenblatt did not deliver specifics on the types of Wheel of Fortune games or how many will be released in PA. However, it does appear that a specific game will be tied together with aspects of the actual TV show.

‘Top tier gaming content partners’ drive success for BetMGM Casino PA
Wheel of Fortune seems to be one of BetMGM’s top partners, considering the operator is expanding its offerings in PA and other locations. BetMGM has had success with “top tier gaming content partners” that have produced exciting slots with familiar brands.
The operator has been very strategic in partnering with providers that deliver well-known content in the form of PA slots games. BetMGM made a big splash earlier this year when the operator launched a Buffalo Wild Wings slot. Buffalo Wild Wings is a popular chain sports bar and restaurant with 1,243 locations across the country, including 29 of them in Pennsylvania.
BetMGM also added ‘The Godfather’ to its library of slot games. The Godfather is one of the most popular and well-known movies ever created. The game needs no introduction for most players having seen the movie before.
BetMGM has several slots from popular TV shows and movies, as well, which include:
- Ted
- Peaky Blinders
- Cats
- Beavis and Butt-Head
- The Goonies
- Hell’s Kitchen
- Hercules
Perhaps the most influential slot added to BetMGM’s collection has been Buffalo, which released in September. Greenblatt said last week:
“We launched in New Jersey in September, and it’s been a top 10 grossing slot game ever since. This hit retail slot title is now also live with BetMGM in Michigan and Pennsylvania.”
Buffalo ranked first on the Eilers-Fantini report in gross gaming revenue (GGR) and theoretical win (Theo) in November.
Launching slots that players have familiarity with has been beneficial for BetMGM. Look for the operator to continue to make up ground in market share over the next several months.
