The most recent recognition marks the third year in a row the North Shore Pennsylvania casino has received the “Top Workplace” honor. These rankings are determined by optional and anonymous employee feedback, and are based on job satisfaction, quality of management and overall work environment.
Rivers Pittsburgh’s general manager, Bud Green, expressed his gratitude, saying in a press release:
“We’re grateful to our Team Members for their steadfast commitment to delivering a superior guest experience each and every day. It’s an honor to work alongside such a talented and dedicated group of people. Our thanks to them and to the community for their ongoing support.”
Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has consistently received high marks from employees, attaining the “Top Workplace” recognition in the Post-Gazette several times before 2020, as well. The Pittsburgh Business Times has also honored the casino in the past as a “Best Place to Work.”
Between Rivers’ Pittsburgh and Philadelphia locations, they’ve made “Top Workplace” lists 29 times since 2012.

BetRivers Sportsbook was named best Pennsylvania sportsbook for the third year in a row, and Rivers also won first-place honors for “Best Blackjack,” as well as “Best VIP Lounge” and “Best Non-Smoking Casino/Area.”
Mt. Airy Casino in the Poconos tallied eight first-place wins among its 26 total awards. The establishment ran the gamut in the categories of hospitality and casino gaming.
