Warning: Mega Millions fever is highly contagious

Posted By admin on January 25, 2019

For a few weeks in October, everything took a back to seat to growing Mega Millions jackpot. It seemed like everyone wanted a chance at making their big dreams come true. By the look of things at the time, the jackpot was well on its way to being the largest jackpot in US Lottery history. In the end, though, the massive $1.53 billion (that’s billion with a “b”) jackpot came in as the second largest jackpot. Don’t worry though, there are likely to be more chances at a $1 billion+  jackpot in the future. Fear of lottery burnout forced changes in Lottery rules last year that will make bigger and less frequent jackpots the norm. The changes altered the odds from 1 in 258,890,850 to 1 in 302,575,350. By the look of things, the new rules are achieving the desired effect.
