PokerStars PA is returning to Live! Casino Philadelphia to host the inaugural PokerStars Summer Series. The Summer Series will be held on three weekends in August and September at the South Philadelphia casino.
Six players from Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be awarded packages for the event.
Live! Casino Philadelphia offers inaugural PokerStars tournament
PokerStars Summer Series will be held on three consecutive weekends starting on Aug. 24 and finishing on Sept. 10.
The Summer Series guarantees a $1 million prize pool with opportunities to buy-in at three entry levels. Players from Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania can win their seat online via satellites on the PokerStars US sites.
Here are the dates for the Summer Series online qualifiers:
- $550 Qualifier Package: July 23
- $1,100 Qualifier Package: July 28
- $2,200 Qualifier Package: July 30
The packages include travel, hotel, along with food and beverage. A total of six packages will be awarded, with many more seat-only qualifiers throughout the month of August.
During the Summer Series, players also have a chance to satellite into the PokerStars US Championship of Online Poker (US COOP).
