With the heart of fall approaching, gaming is starting to ramp back up. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported online casino operators produced $187.3 million in September revenue, a new US record.

PA online casinos shattered the record they set back in March, with a total of $181.5 million in revenue. After a down July where the state failed to exceed $170 million in earnings, players have shown why Pennsylvania is the largest online casino market in the country.

PlayPennsylvania Managing Editor Chris Imperiale said:

“Pennsylvania online casinos put together an incredible showing in September, setting a new all-time, all-market US iGaming record by generating over $187.3 million in gross revenue. This beat out the previous mark set in March 2023 of $181.5 million. The notable month’s earnings saw about a 9% boost from the previous month, and over a 34% increase year over year. Online casinos in PA have now topped at least $160 million in revenue in nine of the last ten months. With three months remaining in the calendar year, PA online casinos are on pace to exceed $2 billion in 2023 revenue, topping last year’s total around $1.7 billion. Pennsylvania’s market doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon and could be in the running for another record in October.”
