Winning $150K Powerball ticket sold in Philly

The last Powerball drawing, on Sept. 9, had winning numbers of 27 – 52 – 55 – 60 -64, along with a red Powerball of 21. The Power Play Multiplier was 3x.

In Pennsylvania, a winning ticket was sold that matched four of the five white balls and Powerball, plus had the $1 Power Play option. Therefore, instead of the ticket being worth $50,000, the prize tripled to $150,000.

The PA Lottery retailer was a ShopRite of Oxford & Levick, at 6301 Oxford Ave. in Philadelphia. ShopRite does not go empty-handed, either. A $500 bonus is theirs just for selling the winning ticket.

Remember that winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes through the PA Lottery.
