PA Online Lottery sells $1 million Powerball ticket

The PA online lottery announced that a $1 million Powerball ticket was sold for the Oct. 31 drawing. Happy Halloween, indeed!

This particular ticket matched all five of the white balls, 02 – 06 – 40 – 42 – 55. However, the winner missed the Powerball 24 to win the big jackpot. Also, had the player bought the $1 Power Play option, it would have boosted the prize to $3 million. Nonetheless, a million dollars is nothing to turn up your nose at.

This historic $1 million win is the first time that such a large Powerball prize has been sold online. As a reminder, it has been less than a year since Powerball was added to the PA online lottery options.

Besides the draw lottery games like Powerball and Mega Millions, there are tons of other games and exciting promotions for online players.
