Jan. 13 is not just any date in the realm of Powerball. Not only would this be one of the largest jackpots, but it is also the fifth anniversary of the world record Powerball $1.5 billion jackpot.
On Jan. 13, 2016 three winners shared the jackpot from California, Florida and Tennessee.
$1 million Powerball ticket sold in PA
The last drawing on Saturday night yielded a couple of big winners despite no jackpot winner. A $1 million ticket was sold in Florida matching all five white balls. The other big $1 million ticket was sold right here in Pennsylvania.
Sheetz located on 240 E. Chestnut St. in Mifflinburg earns a $5,000 bonus just for selling the winner. In PA, more than 146,500 Powerball tickets were winners of various amounts.
