It’s Saturday again, which means it is once again time for a chance to win millions of dollars in the Powerball drawing. With the jackpot at an estimated $40 million, that would mean $28.4 million in your pocket if you match all six numbers.

If you could use that kind of extra cash, read on.

Jackpot hits in Michigan

In the last drawing on Wednesday, Feb. 12, a lotto player in Michigan matched all five white ball numbers plus the powerball to win the jackpot, which had climbed to around $70 million. That starts the big prize over, but it’s still quite a nice payout.

One player in Missouri matched five white balls to win $1 million. Nine others matched four numbers and the powerball. Eight of them won $50,000 for the feat, while one person had added the $1 “power play” to double the payout to $100,000.

The Powerball drawing takes place every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. You can check back here for the winning numbers just after 11:00 p.m. when they are posted.

Winning numbers: 16 – 32 – 35 – 36 – 46 and Powerball: 03

Powerplay multiplier: 3x

Always play the lottery responsibly. The payouts are big, but the odds are long. Good luck all.
