Recent Powerball winners

The winning numbers for Saturday, April 25 were 1 – 3 – 21 – 47 – 57 and the powerball was 18. The power play was 2x.

There were ten $50,000 winners Saturday, who matched four white balls and the powerball. Another ticket had the same matches but earned $100,000 with the $1 multiplier added to the ticket.

No one hit the jackpot or matched all five white balls for a million.

Lottery changing with the times

With many lotto retailers still currently closed amid the pandemic, sales have gone down. That goes for Powerball and Mega Millions too. For that reason, there are some temporary changes to these drawings in effect until further notice.

The jackpot amounts will reset to $20 million each time they are hit. That is down from the previous minimum of $40 million.

The Powerball jackpot reached $190 million before it hit in New Jersey on April 8. That prompted the reset.

Additionally, jackpots now increase each drawing based on sales and interest rates, with no minimum increase from drawing to drawing.

Winning Powerball numbers April 29

Despite the changes, Powerball and Mega Millions continue with drawings at 11 p.m. For Powerball, those happen every Wednesday and Saturday. Find the winning numbers for the Wednesday, April 29 drawing here when they are available.

Winning numbers: 2 – 20 – 49 – 61 – 67 Powerball 20

Power play: 2X

Powerball prizes range from $4 up to the grand prize, which is currently $43 million. Odds are long, but the jackpot offers a life-changing payout.

As always, play responsibly. And remember, proceeds from the PA lottery benefit older Pennsylvanians.
