The Powerball jackpot gets another boost tonight, after no one hit the grand prize in the previous drawing. For Sept. 19, the jackpot is estimated at $238 million. The lump sum cash value of tonight’s jackpot is $128 million before taxes.
There hasn’t been a Powerball jackpot winner since a player right here in Pennsylvania hit the $206.9 million prize on Aug. 3. That winning ticket was sold at a Sheetz store in Westmoreland County.
On Saturday, just one player in the drawing hit a $1 million payday. To hit that prize, a ticket must match the first five white balls drawn, but not the red Powerball. That winning ticket was sold in California.
Powerball drawings take place three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Check tonight’s winning Powerball numbers below, after the drawing at 11 p.m. ET.
