For this Wednesday Powerball drawing, the jackpot prize has cracked the $200 million threshold, coming in at an estimated $203 million for Sept. 14. The last time Powerball’s jackpot hit this level, a Pennsylvania player beat the odds and won it all. That was just last month on Aug. 3. As for tonight, the lump sum cash value of the jackpot is about $112 million before withholding.
On Monday, two players hit prizes of $1 million in the Powerball drawing. Tickets sold in New York and Texas both matched the first five white balls, missing only the red Powerball.

PA Lottery player hits $3 million prize on scratch-off
This week, another PA Lottery player hit a top prize on a scratch-off ticket called $3,000,000 Payout. The ticket has a price tag of $30 and offers top prizes of $3 million. A Wawa store on East Gay Street in Chester County sold the winning ticket. The retailer earned a $10,000 bonus.
The news comes just a week after a player in Pittsburgh hit a $3 million win on a different scratch-off. That one was the $3 Million Xtreme Tripler, sold by North Side Beer and Beverage, at 1304 Federal Street in the ‘Burgh. That store also earned a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
