Powerball now holds drawings three nights per week, and tonight’s drawing kicks off the new week with yet another increase to the jackpot prize. For Sept. 12, the Powerball grand prize is estimated at $193 million. A jackpot winner can choose to receive the cash value of their winnings in a single payment. The lump sum cash value tonight is $105.3 million, before withholding.
In Saturday’s drawing, a ticket with Power Play hit all five white balls, but not the red Powerball. The ticket, sold in Ohio, is worth $2 million for that lucky winner. A ticket sold in Wisconsin also matched the first five numbers and won $1 million. That player did not add the $1 Power Play option.
