$2 million Powerball ticket sold in Philly
No one won the big jackpot, but that does not mean that there were no big winners. Right here in Pennsylvania, a lottery retailer sold a ticket with Power Play for the last drawing on Wednesday, Sept. 22. As a reminder, the winning numbers were 20 – 40 – 47 – 55 – 63 with a red Powerball of 5. Another Wawa location sold the winner at 1707 Arch St. in Philadelphia and earned an additional $10,000 bonus.
Additionally, there was another big winner sold in Lycoming County worth $150k. This particular ticket matched four of the five white balls and the red Powerball to win the game’s third-place prize. Typically a prize of this amount is only worth $50k. However, this ticket also opted for the Power Play. The multiplier drawn was 3x, tripling the winnings. Ben Franklin Store and Townville Pharmacy sold the ticket at 2195 Route 442 Highway in Muncy.
