Yet another Powerball drawing is in the rear-view mirror today, after Saturday produced no jackpot winner. The big prize rolls on for tonight’s drawing, increasing yet again. For Monday, Oct. 17, the Powerball jackpot is estimated at $480 million. The lump sum cash value of the prize is $242 million, before withholding.
Powerball has now had 31 drawings in a row without a grand prize winner. If a player wins tonight’s jackpot, it would be the game’s second largest jackpot won this year.
In the previous drawing, the largest prizes were won in Texas and Ohio. Tickets sold in both states matched the first five numbers drawn to win the second-tier prize of $1 million.
Check tonight’s winning Powerball numbers below, after the drawing at 11 p.m. ET.

Powerball’s Power Play multiplier hit 5x on Saturday
Power Play tickets that won lower-tier prizes in Saturday’s drawing benefited from the rare 5x multiplier that was drawn. A ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched four of the five white balls, plus the red Powerball, to win $250,000. Without Power Play, that prize would have been $50,000.
That lucky winning ticket was sold in Venango County at Spanky’s Tobacco World, 3348 State Route 257, Seneca. The retailer also earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Power Play is the $1 ticket add-on that multiplies all prizes other than the jackpot.
