$2 million Pennsylvania Powerball winner

Today, the PA Lottery announced that there was a second-place prize winner in the Keystone State for the last drawing. For Saturday, Sept. 11, the winning numbers drawn were 20 – 31 – 38 – 40 – 49 with a red Powerball of 21.

In fact, the ticket had Power Play, which meant the prize is $2 million for matching all five white balls. However, the winner just missed scooping up the whole jackpot by not matching the red Powerball number.

Wawa located on 260 W. Schuylkill Road in Pottstown sold the winner and earns an additional $10,000 bonus. Remember that the winner is not known until coming forward to claim the prize.

Overall, more than 55,400 other Powerball tickets in PA won a prize of some type. More than 12,500 tickets were purchased with Power Play. Finally, over 6,000 tickets were purchased with the new feature of the game, Double Play.
