No jackpot winner in the last Powerball drawing means the Top Prize continues to grow. For tonight’s drawing, May 28, the jackpot is up to $150 million. For a winner who wants to take the big prize in a single payment, the cash value is $88 million. The jackpot amount is determined by estimated ticket sales and interest rates. The prize could be larger than estimated.
In the previous drawing on Wednesday, one player in Connecticut hit a $2 million prize by matching the first five white balls. That prize would have been $1 million without the Power Play option added to the ticket. Three others came away with prizes of $150,000 by matching four white balls plus the red Power Ball with Power Play on their tickets. Power Play is the $1 ticket option that multiplies all lower tier prizes.

Check your email! The winners of the PA Lottery’s Raining Riches Second Chance Drawing were announced yesterday. Winners are notified by email, to the address used on their VIP Players Club account. The drawing was open for all PA Lottery draw game tickets, including Powerball, Mega Millions and Keno. The Top Prize awarded yesterday was $100,000 to Darren Z in Butler County.
