$2 million winning ticket sold in PA

Winning Powerball tickets from the Jan. 19 drawing include a big one sold in PA. A ticket sold in Bucks County matched the first five white balls, but not the Powerball. The ticket had the Power Play option, which doubled the prize amount to $2 million for the lucky PA player.

The Wegman’s store in Warrington where the ticket was sold will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The PA Lottery says winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.

Other big winners included another $2 million prize won in CT and a $1 million hit for a player in CA who matched the first five numbers but did not use the Power Play option.
