Just last week, one Powerball player took the third big jackpot hit so far this year. Tonight, there’s another chance at a Powerball jackpot, estimated at $27 million for May 2. The cash value of the prize is $16.1 million, before taxes. That’s the amount a winner would get if they choose to take the prize all at once in a single payment.
There was no Grand Prize winner in Saturday’s drawing, but a couple of players won major prizes, including one right here in Pennsylvania. Those two players matched the first five white balls, without hitting the red Powerball and won $1 million each. Keep reading to see exactly where the PA ticket was sold.

Another lucky week for PA Lottery players
A ticket sold in Luzerne County hit Powerball’s second-tier prize of $1 million on Saturday. The winner bought their ticket at Hazle Mini Mart on State Route 940 in Hazle Township. That store receives a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
In other PA Lottery news, there were two consecutive jackpot winners on Cash 5 With Quick Cash drawings over the weekend. The first, on April 29, won more than $1 million before withholding. That ticket was sold at SHOP ‘n SAVE at 2100 Washington Pike in Carnegie, Allegheny County.
Believe it or not, another ticket hit the Cash 5 jackpot the very next day, also in Allegheny County. The April 30 winner was sold at Giant Eagle on Towne Centre Drive in Wexford. The top prize was at the starting amount of $150,000.
