Tonight’s Powerball drawing offers up another whopping jackpot just waiting to be claimed. The Grand Prize has reached an estimated $85 million on this March 5. A winner in this drawing could choose to take $56.6 million in one lump sum payment, before withholding.
The last time the Powerball jackpot was hit was on Valentine’s day this year, less than three weeks ago. The Top Prize was up to $183.5 million when the lucky player in CT won it, right as that state’s lottery was kicking off their 50th Anniversary. This month, the PA Lottery is celebrating its 50th as well.
