The winning ticket sold at Circle K located on Temecula Parkway in Temecula, CA. The winning retailer received a $13,824 bonus. More importantly, typically a Match 5 ticket that misses the Powerball is worth $1 million. However, in California, prizes are based on a pari-mutuel basis. Therefore, this Match 5 ticket won $2,656,980.
