As a recap, the last drawing on Wednesday, March 24, had winning numbers of 4 – 9 – 17 – 27 – 38 with a red Powerball of 18. Additionally, the optional $1 Power Play multiplier was 2X. Nationwide, there was one Match 5 $1 million winner from Washington, meaning the ticket matched all five white numbers.
The PA Lottery announced that there was a $100,000 ticket sold for the last drawing at Exxon Mart located on 308 E. Wyomissing Ave. in Mohnton. Exxon Mart earns an additional $500 bonus for selling the winner.
In fact, the ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball. Typically, this third-place prize is worth $50,000. However, the lucky winner added on the $1 Power Play multiplier, doubling the prize to $100,000.
