A PA Powerball player struck it rich on Wednesday when they matched the first five numbers in that night’s drawing. That player was one number away from winning it all, but they’ll still get a nice prize of $1 million. The winning ticket was sold at Turkey Hill on Fuhrman Mill Road in Hanover, York County. That store earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
With no Top Prize winner yet, the jackpot for March 26 climbs to $181 million. The lump sum cash value comes to $118 million before taxes for this Saturday night drawing.

Another day, another million dollar winner!
Following the million dollar Powerball winner this week, another PA Lottery player won the $1 million Top Prize on a PA Lottery Scratch-Off. Fast Lane Mart on South Main St. in Taylor sold the winning $1,000,000 Power Payday ticket. That store gets a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Power Payday ticket costs $20, and offers five Top Prizes of $1 million. Four of those prizes remain. Five prizes of $100,000 and 27 prizes of $10,000 are still out there to be won on that ticket, in addition to plenty of lower prizes. Scratch-Off prizes will expire if not claimed within a year of the ticket’s end-sale date, which is posted on palottery.com.
The PA Lottery reminds players to check every ticket, and if you have a winner, immediately sign the back of the ticket and call the lottery office at 1-800-692-7481 for more info on claiming your prize.
